Are Ecohound bags biodegradable?
Our bags are not biodegradable but are made from 25% Oceanex and 50% recycled plastic, aligning with the EU’s sustainability directives.
Why did you change the bag composition?
Due to EU regulations banning Oxo-Biodegradable plastics, we shifted to a more sustainable blend of Oceanex and recycled materials.
What is Oceanex?
Oceanex is a bio-renewable resin supplement made from powdered oyster shells, reducing reliance on oil-based polymers.
Are your bags compostable?
Our current Ecohound bags are not compostable, but we plan to introduce a compostable range meeting international standards soon. We can manufacture compostable as a custom branded option.
Do Ecohound bags have a scent?
Our bags are unscented to maintain a neutral smell, with plans to add an odour neutraliser in the future. We offer both scented bags and odour neutralisers for custom-branded products.
How thick are your bags?
Our Ecohound bags range from 15 to 17 microns in thickness, ensuring durability and reliability. However, we can manufacture any thickness of bags for white label customers.
What sizes are available?
We offer various sizes to accommodate different dog breeds, from small rolls to large flat-packed options and can manufacture in a variety of sizes for white label customers.
What colours do the bags come in?
Our bags are available in a discreet bottle green for regular use and will be a vibrant teal for compostable options.
We can manufacture custom-branded bags in any Pantone colour.
What is your packaging made of?
Our packaging is made from recycled cardboard, certified by FSC, to promote sustainable practices.
